Cancellation and Refunds

We understand that travel plans may change unexpectedly. Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to provide clarity and flexibility while ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.

  • Refund Eligibility Based on Cancellation Timeframe 100% refund of the booking amount will be issued if the cancellation is made 12 or more days before the check-in date.
  • If the booking is cancelled 6 to 12 days before the check-in date, a Future Stay Voucher (FSV) worth 60% of the booking amount will be issued, or 50% refund in the original mode of payment.
  • No refund or voucher will be issued if the booking is cancelled within 6 days of the check-in date.
  • Additional Terms

  • Refunds will be processed within 10 working days from the date of cancellation.
  • Partial payments made towards bookings are non-refundable.
  • Future Stay Vouchers (FSV) issued as per policy can be redeemed for future bookings.
  • Refunds, if applicable, are subject to a 5% processing fee. However, if you choose an FSV (Future Stay Voucher), the full refund amount will be credited without any deductions.
  • In the event of a last-minute cancellation due to extenuating circumstances, StayVista will try to secure a new booking for the same dates. If the dates are successfully rebooked, a refund will be issued after deducting a 5% processing fee. However, if the property remains unbooked, the cancellation will be considered a no-show and will not be eligible for a refund. Please verify if your situation qualifies under our extenuating circumstances policy.

    1. What is the Rescheduling Eligibility & Terms?

  • StayVista allows rescheduling of a booking only if the request is made within 12 and 6 days before check-in, subject to a 30% rescheduling fee.
  • Rescheduling is subject to the availability of the same villa.
  • Bookings can be rescheduled only once and only for the same property.
  • The new booking must be within 3 months of the original booking date.
  • Partial payment bookings are not eligible for rescheduling.
  • After deducting the rescheduling charges and adjusting the new booking amount, any remaining balance will be absorbed into the new booking and will not be refunded.
  • Certain bookings are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances. Please review the following terms carefully

    No Refunds Will Be Issued For:

  • Bookings made using the "NOCANCEL" coupon.
  • Peak date bookings – These reservations cannot be refunded or rescheduled.Rescheduled bookings – Once a booking has been rescheduled, it is no longer eligible for a refund.
  • Partial payment bookings – These bookings are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
  • Last-Minute Cancellations Due to Extenuating Circumstance

  • If a cancellation occurs at the last minute due to extenuating circumstances, StayVista will attempt to secure another booking for the same dates.
  • If a replacement booking is confirmed, the new booking amount (after a 5% deduction) will be refunded.
  • If no replacement booking is secured, the cancellation will be treated as a no-show, with no refund applicable.
  • By booking a stay with StayVista, guests agree to the following Terms & Conditions:

    1. Booking Confirmation & Payment

  • A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the full payment or an approved partial payment, as applicable.
  • StayVista reserves the right to cancel unpaid or partially paid bookings if payment is not completed within the specified timeframe.
  • 2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed after deducting a 5% processing fee.
  • Refunds may take up to 10 working days to reflect in the original payment method.
  • Peak date bookings are strictly non-refundable.
  • Bookings made via third-party platforms (MakeMyTrip, Booking.com, airbnb, etc.) are subject to their respective cancellation and refund policies.
  • 3. Rescheduling Policy

  • Guests may reschedule their booking only once, provided the request is made at least 6 days before check-in. A 30% rescheduling fee will be charged.
  • Rescheduling is not allowed for peak date bookings or partial payment bookings.
  • Rescheduling is subject to villa availability and can only be done for the same property.
  • 4. Check-in & Check-out

  • Guests must adhere to the designated check-in and check-out times mentioned in their booking confirmation.
  • Early check-in or late check-out requests are subject to availability and additional charges.
  • 5. Guest Responsibilities

  • The guest count must not exceed the occupancy limit set at the time of booking. Any extra guests will be charged separately and added to the booking cost.
  • Any damage to property, furniture, or amenities during the stay will be charged to the guest.
  • Loud music, parties, or any activity that disturbs neighbours is strictly prohibited unless explicitly allowed by the villa’s house rules.
  • Guests must comply with local laws and house rules provided at the property.
  • 6. Property-Specific Rules & Policies

  • Each property may have additional terms and conditions, such as pet policies, smoking restrictions, or security deposit requirements.
  • Guests are responsible for reviewing these before booking.
  • 7. Liability & Force Majeure

  • StayVista is not liable for unforeseen events such as natural disasters, political unrest, or other situations beyond its control. However, if you meet our extenuating circumstances criteria, we will do our best to accommodate your request
  • In case of force majeure, StayVista will offer an alternative solution where possible, but refunds will not be guaranteed.
  • A Future Stay Voucher (FSV) is a credit issued by StayVista that allows you to rebook a stay at any of our properties across India. Instead of receiving a refund to your original payment method, you can choose an FSV, which offers added flexibility for future travel.

    If you opt for an FSV, the full refund amount will be credited to the voucher, whereas bank refunds are subject to a 5% processing fee.

    Key Features of FSV:

  • Redeemable across all StayVista properties in India.
  • Can be used multiple times until the full amount is exhausted.
  • All refunds issued exempt accommodation fee and cleaning fee. 
  • Valid for 1 year from the date of issuance.
  • Can be applied directly during payment when making a new booking.
  • Refunds processed as an FSV do not have any processing fee deductions.
  • Meal cancellations made at least 2 days before check-in are eligible for a full refund

    Guests can cancel or reschedule their booking through the web check-in link sent to their registered mobile number on WhatsApp.

    Steps to Cancel or Reschedule:

    Step 1- Click on ‘Cancel My Booking’ or ‘Reschedule My Booking’ tab.

    Step 2- Provide your reason for cancellation—this helps us explore alternatives so you may not have to cancel. If you're certain about cancelling, you can skip this step.

    Step 3- Choose your refund option

  • Bank Refund (subject to a 5% deduction)
  • Future Stay Voucher
  • Step 4- Confirm your cancellation.

  • You’ll receive a confirmation code via your registered email.
  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 10 working days.
  • Note: If you do not see the option to cancel or reschedule, it means your booking has exceeded the timeframe within which StayVista allows modifications.

    The security deposit is refunded within 5 working days, provided the total number of guests does not exceed the count mentioned at the time of booking and the check-out time is followed. To receive the full refund, the number of guests must not exceed the count mentioned at the time of booking.
